Experience the most awaited signature event of the Scottsdale Culinary Festival 2013 which is The Great Arizona Picnic. It is back this year and better than ever with over 200 types of beer, 16 hours of live music and 50 restaurants all for two days. Cooking demos from top chefs, samples, tastings awaits for this year’s celebration.
Immerse yourself in the Epicurean Expo which will showcase ground-breaking innovations in the culinary world. Well- known exhibitors will also demonstrate their state-of-the-art equipments including juicers, slow-cook warming drawers, blenders, knives and more.
Taste the goodness of vodka cocktails from the mixologists of the SKY Bar, while the Tequila Deck will ensure that margarita fans are well acquainted with agave.
Saturday’s lineup of activities include major culinary firepower by the host of ABC’s breakout new reality show The Taste which is Brian Malarkey, plus Food Network’s Robin Miller and globally-awarded chef Jose Garces. The Southwest Festival of BeersTM presented by Blue Moon will also supply samplings of over 200 delicious food, frosty beers and musical entertainment.
The Southwest Festival of BeersTM will transform into a blues lover’s dream with Blues and Brews and the pairing of three of the finest Blues acts in the Valley with the best beer tasting selection in the West on Sunday night.
This year’s Scottsdale Culinary Festival opens its doors to the most prestigious culinary awards in the state so that everyone can join. Don’t miss the awards night as awards are given to the Beverage Master of the Year, Chef of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, and Restaurateur of the Year.
The Great Arizona Picnic 2013 will be held on April 13, 2013, Saturday from noon to 9:00 in the evening and on April 14, Sunday, from noon until 6:00 in the evening. The location will be at the Scottsdale Civic Center, 3939 North Drinkwater Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251.
