Summer Concert Series at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

Looking for some great events in Scottsdale? Check out the McCormick-Stillman’s FREE Concert Series.

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is the perfect location for free concert events in the Valley. They launched their FREE concert series which started last May 5 and will continue to kick off every Sunday until July 7, 2013. The concert will start at 7:30 PM up to 9:00 in the evening.

Come and enjoy this free event with your entire family or group of friends and bring some chairs and blankets with you while listening to different set of local bands who will be performing during the event.

If you missed the first four concert series, you don’t have to be worried because there are still six available free concerts to catch for. Last Sunday’s event, all guest enjoyed the Retro 80s jams coming from the Rock Lobster bands. Upcoming local performers include The JJ’s, Groove Merchants, Static, Cold Shot, Hurricanes and Mogollon, and Georgia Chrome.

This year’s list of Summer Concert events include:

May 5 – Furious George (Current Rock Tunes with Classics)

May 12 – Flipside-45 (Oldies)

May 19 – Raun Alosi & 60 Degrees North (Mix of Soul, Classic, Rock, R & B and Pop)

May 26 – Rock Lobster (Retro 80’s)

June 2 – Groove Merchants (Big City Sound with Hot Horn Section)

June 9 – The JJ’s (Motown to the 80’s)

June 16 – Static (Retro/ Ol’ Skool Dance / Rock Hits)

June 23 – Georgia Chrome (New Country)

June 30 – Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns (Classic Rock and R & B)

July 7 – Mogollon (High Energy Country)

Aside from this Free Summer Concert Series at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, you can also spend time with your kids and loved ones at the rest of the attractions inside the McCormick Park. Carousel and Train rides are also available during the entire concert schedule. Admission cost $2 for each guest and for children below three years old are free of charge for the rides as long as they are being accompanied with a paying adults. Foods are also available for purchase at the venue.
