Are you one of those who are so excited for summer vacation to come? Well, summer vacation is really great. It’s the best time to give yourself a break and to relax from the stresses of school days. Summer vacation time is also the most awaited time for children. Summer Time is Play Time!!!

To make your child’s summer vacation time- the best one, it will be best if you’ll let them enroll and participate in different Summer Camps offered in your place. In Metro Phoenix, there are lots of Summer Camp programs offered for children to make the most out of their summer vacation. Aside from learning valuable life skills, it’s also a great time for them to discover new interest, learn new things, meet new friends, and develop their character.

Phoenix Summer Camp Guide

City of Scottsdale Parks and Recreation Summer Camps

Different varieties of summer camp programs that will surely make your child enjoy the entire summer were being offered by The City of Scottsdale Parks and Recreation Department. Some of their activities focus on science, fitness, specialty activities, arts and crafts, and sports.

Summer Schedule: June 3 – July 19

Ages: 4 – 14

Times: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 8:30 – 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (depending on camp)

Prices: $102 – $260 per 2-week session (depending on camp and residency)

Desert Stages Theatre Summer Camp

Scottsdale Desert Stages Academy invites every one particularly those kids and teens who are interested with musical theatre to join the SUMMER CAMP FOR YOUNG ACTORS and SUMMER CAMP JR. They offer 3 three- week themed sessions to help aspiring young actors with hands-on theatrical experience.

Summer Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm.

Tuition is $550 per 3-week session. (Multiple child and/or session and Early Bird Discounts available)

Schedule for Summer Camp Jr.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm for $250 per 3-week session. (Multiple child and/or session and Early Bird Discounts available)

AZ on the Rocks Sports Camp

Let your child experience an active summer filled with exciting activities that will definitely let them defy gravity.

Summer Camp Schedule: June 4 – Aug. 3

Hours: Half day option is 9 a.m. -1 p.m., full day option is 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Before/after care (8 a.m.- 5 p.m. is available upon request).

Ages: 4 – 12

Pricing: Half day option is $275 p/child; full day option is $325 p/child. You can also Register Here

Sweet Basil Kids and Teens Cooking Camp

If you want your kids or young teens to learn cooking this summer vacation, then check out Sweet Basil Kids and Teens Cook Camps Program. Every camp will have a different menu. If you want to register and make reservation, just CLICK HERE!!!

Summer Camp Schedule: July 8-12; 22-26; and July 29- Aug.2 (Monday-Friday)

Hours: Kids Cook (9:30AM-12:00PM); Teens Cook (2:00PM-4:30PM)

Cooking Camp Fee: $250

Mad Science Summer Camps

Mad Science offers topics that focuses on Moving with Science; Rocking Rockets; Science Explorations; Red Hot Robots; Phenomenal Flights; and Chemicals, Cells and Crimes. For reservations, you can Register Here

Ages: K- 5th grade

Campers do need to bring their own lunches and snacks. No peanut products are allowed.

Pricing: $227 – $255 per child/per week

Gymnastics & Trampoline Summer Camp
