Run & Beer Garden (4 Mile Run/Walk)

Welcome spring to the Valley of the Sun. Join and celebrate the 7^th Annual St. Patrick’s Evening run/ walk. This year’s Run and Beer Garden event will be held on March 16, 2013, Saturday at 5:00 in the afternoon at Kiwanis Park, Tempe, Arizona.

The evening run will begin and ends at the north soccer fields (SW corner of Rural and Baseline). It is a four mile run or walk that will basically consist of two loops within the Kiwanis Park. In case you need a pit stop, the loop will pass the beer garden.

There will be plenty of beers available at the Beer Garden. Additional beer and One Michelob Ultra will also be given for those for those registered participants for the race. To receive a wristband and enjoy the pre, during and post race festivities, you need to bring your personal identification card.

The entire race will be chip time. Race numbers should be worn at all time during the race because timing chips are placed on the reverse side of the race number. Race numbers should be pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button.

The cost will be $25 for registration made prior to March 2, $30 for registrations until March 16 at 10:00 in the morning, and $35 for onsite registration. The cost includes Food, music, fun, complimentary Michelob Ultra, and event T-shirt. The shirts are guaranteed for pre- registered participants. Registrations also are available online. Roadrunner Sports offers a 10% discount to participants that pick up their packet during this time.
7:00 p.m. Packet pick up and late registration closes

SATURDAY MARCH 16
3:00 p.m. Packet pick up and late registration opens Kiwanis Park
4:00 p.m. Garden bar opens
5:00 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk begins
6:15 p.m. Awards

Awards:

Overall awards for will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers. Age group awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers per the following age groups:

• 5-9
• 10-14
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70+
