Odysea in the Desert Aquarium Soon to Rise in Arizona
The “Odysea in the Desert” entertainment district is being built by Northern Gateway, LLC. The complex is being funded by principal partner Amram Knishinsky. The five-acre, 522,000-square-foot project is going up at Via de Ventura and Loop 101 on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Phase two of the project will be the Odysea in the Desert Aquarium.
“It will be a Mecca for locals and tourists” – said Knishinsky
Odysea Aquarium is just one of the main attractions offered at the complex, OdySea in the Desert. Inside the aquarium, visitors are given a chance to meet some of the unique and incredible marine creatures.
Visitors will have at least two to three hours to tour around the aquarium. Every minute will surely be a great experience because visitors will be taken through a hundred themed areas with surprises awaiting them at every corner.
Visitors will have a great time inside and will be amazed with the shape, movement, and color of almost 25,000 species of exotic fish in the aquarium.
OdySea in the Desert also offers other world class attractions aside from the OdySea Aquarium, these includes the Butterfly Wonderland which will soon be opened in May 2013; IMAX; Arizona experience; Ripley’s Believe It or Not!; MagiQuest; Restaurants; and Retail shops.
OdySea’s attraction would be a great addition to the growing entertainment district. OdySea would compete with the Sea Life aquarium at Arizona Mills in Tempe and another aquarium at the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium in Litchfield Park.
