October 2013 Real Estate Market Report
Click to watch our “Not Too Scary Report”
… and we promise you it will be entertaining!
Ah, I’m the Phantom Realtor and thanks for tuning in! What’s in your scary plans for Halloween?
Today we will take you around the valley looking at a few Haunted Houses, then take a quick moment to review the Real Estate Market Report for September here in metro Phoenix.
We have been to two Haunted Houses already this year and what a different experience!
First, was the 13th floor.
What was cool here was the zombie dance routing while waiting in line. The entertainment was Awesome.
Inside, we experienced the best sets. They were very professional and set a realistic seen. Of course scary monsters jumped out at you all along the way.
The 13th floor has a 2nd scary room, Zombie Land. The set design dropped off, but it was still very good. Military saviors guided you through and kept the Zombies away.
Our second trip out was to Scream Park.
This attraction offers 4 different scary haunted houses: Zombie Infirmary, Clown Town of Terror, Gold Miner’s Revenge and Horror High.
The set design was not comparable to the 13th floor. It was more about mazes with dirt floors and lots of monsters jumping out at you.
I thought the best part was Clown Town of Terror where there were 3-D effects. Be sure to wear your worst tennis shoes, as they will be covered in moon dust by the end of all 3.
Some of the other Haunted Houses include:
- 13th Floor Haunted House: Bell Rd, Phoenix (602) 456-2250
- Scream Park: McDowell Rd, Scottsdale (480) 444-2590
- Chambers of Fear: Bell Rd, Surprise (623) 255-6896

I hope you have a Frightening October!
Go on now, get off the couch, set your shows to record and go do something different.
Act like a freaking Kid again. I do!
Now to the boring Real Estate World.
Here are the numbers. What was most noticeable in September was the HUGE increase in Available inventory of homes sale. Nothing to cry about, but something to watch.
Inventory was up by 12% in one month and is at its highest level since August 2011, the market bottom, and up 67% from the low levels of June 2012.
Scary… Not really. We still only have a 3 month supply of SFR on the market.
