This power point presentation was put together by Keller Williams. I made it into a video for ease of viewing. It compares home sales in metro Phoenix over the past 3 years, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Home sales picked up in December 2010 after falling off when the tax credit expired earlier in the year.
It also shows the product mix of Foreclosure, Short Sale and Retail home sales. For 2010, 70% of sales are a combinatiion of REO (foreclosure or bank owned) and Short Sale.
Take a look at these graphs and facts about the Phoenix Real Estate Market. You will see, we are bouncing along the bottom. Recovery is on the way. Home sales are up and inventory is down. As of the beginning of the year we had 4.2 months supply of homes on the market here in metro Phoenix.
