MCACC’s Uno por Uno program
Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum
1826 W. McDowell Road
Phoenix, AZ 85007
Check in 7:00 a.m.
MCACC’s Uno por Uno program is helping the community to be a safer place for people and pets. It is also helping to lower the number of homeless pets in Maricopa County. During these tough economic times, something free doesn’t hurt. There will be a FREE Spay/Neuter Clinic Saturday and Sunday, March 16th and 17th! The clinic will be held at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum located at 1826 W. McDowell Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85007. Check in begins at 7:00 am and is first come, first serve. Show up early as the clinic can take a limited number of animals. There is a limit of two pets per household.
Maricopa County has a huge pet overpopulation program. We are only the fourth largest county in the US, but we have the second largest municipal animal shelter. MCACC sees more than 46,000 dogs and cats every year! Please spay and neuter your pets.
If you are planning on bringing your pet to the clinic, do not give food or water to pets after 10:00 pm the night before the surgery. No hernias or cryptorchid males, pregnant or in-heat females. Animals must be at least two pounds. There is a limit of two pets per household. Dog owners must purchase a Maricopa County dog license.
Andy Kunasek, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors urges all pet owners to take advantage of this free program to help control the pet overpopulation problem.
Bring your dog and cat out on March 16th and 17th to get them sterilized at no cost to you. Help us in the battle against unwanted, homeless pets!
