Early Eoucet really came out over the last couple of games. It shows me how a young player can really develop under stars like Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. He has not been pressured into the line up early and he has had 2 years to watch and learn. This is how a football team builds off victorious seasons and continues to be a long term competitor in the NFL.
Early Doucet right on time for the Cardinals

Of all the smiling faces in the Cardinals’ locker room after their mind-blowing, 51-45 overtime playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers, one stood out among the celebrating crowd.
Early Doucet wasn’t sure whether to smile, laugh or cry. In truth, he did all three. Multiple times.
“You have no idea what this is like for me,” the second-year wide receiver said, his face changing expression with almost every word. “Honestly, I almost don’t know what to say.”
His look said it all.
This is the player who was listed as inactive for 10 games last season in his rookie year, the same guy who suited up but didn’t get to play in Super Bowl XLIII.
He was mostly a spectator again this season, missing parts of training camp because of various injuries and then watching from the sideline in sweats for the Cardinals’ first seven games.
“One thing we’ve been consistent with is we’ve made our players earn their opportunities on the field,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “Look at even Kurt (Warner). Kurt had to earn that job, too. I think it builds a hunger and confidence within these players.
“Early had it tough, but that created a toughness in Early. He understood what it took for him to prepare and get ready to play, and you’re seeing it pay off now. His confidence has soared, and (against the Packers) we got a chance to see that really blossom.”
