McDowell Mountain Ranch, Scottsdale

McDowell Mountain Ranch is a diverse, family oriented, and award winning community. It has a wide range of amenities designed for an active lifestyle. Residents enjoy access to the mountain preserve via the improved trail system. Miles of improved trails connect neighborhoods to each other and to the Scottsdale Public Library, Citizen Service Center, elementary/middle school and the recreation center. Almost nine hundred acres of land were dedicated to Sonoran Desert preservation by McDowell Mountain Ranch.

  The community center is the primary indoor recreational venue. It is staffed by a recreational director and is used extensively for adult fitness programs, child-oriented activities, smaller club meetings, and more often rented out for private parties.

The five-acre Park and Community Center has a sand volleyball court, basketball court, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, a picnic Ramada with a built-in BBQ, children’s playground with an open grassy recreational area, and the very popular splash fountain.
