Arizona’s 9th Annual Pat’s Run
Pat’s Run is a yearly event presented by the Pat Tillman Foundation. It was the signature event the Pat Tillman Foundation which has started from a community celebration of Pat’s memory to a global celebration of his legacy.
The 9th Annual Pat’s Run will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium. The event attracts more than 35,000 participants, volunteers and visitors from any places across the country.
The ninth Pat’s Run features a 4.2 mile run/walk, a .42 mile Kids Run for children 12 and under and a Finish Line Expo. The 4.2 mile course winds through the streets of Tempe. Both events are staged so that all participants finish on the 42-yard line on Frank Kush Field inside Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the #42 jersey that Pat wore while he was a Sun Devil.
The event was made not just to honor Pat Tillman but also to inspire Tillman Military Scholars and individuals from any part of the world to create their own legacy. Participants and volunteers run and walk together to raise important funds to support the programs created to pay tribute to Pat Tillman’s commitment to leadership and service.

After the run, participants will be entertained as fun continues at the Finish Line Expo. The expo features refreshments, entertainments, local and national vendors, as well as an interactive zone for the younger ones filled with inflatable, games, and special team mascot appearances and members of the Arizona State football team.
