Arizona Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts

Bounce back from Poor season opener

Well my Cardinals bounced back last week. It looked rather simple as I watched from my sofa! There was a fear, 0-1 start, loosing at home to the San Fransisco 49ers and then going on the road to the east coast. But the Cards easily got that monkey off their back quickly. Everything was going right for the Cardinals, I remember seeing a stat flashed that Kurt Warner was 8 for 8 and thinking, wow I didn’t even notice. Kurt went on to through 24 for 26 and again as the game was going the only reason I was aware was because the announcers noted he was tying a record set by Jake Plummer. It just happened, it wasn’t incredible. Things went smooth and you know I just wouldn’t have noticed if not for the annoucers.
This week we face Payton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. The nation will be watching as we host a Sunday night affair. Now is the time for Kurt Wanrner to be the hero. Go out and play well, protect the ball and be consistent. And I believe he will do that.
Will coach Ken Wisenhunt give Bennie Wells the ball this week?

Last week Beenie looked so good running with the ball. The problem was holding on to the ball. That was a big disappointment. I believe the coach should and will get him back in the game tomorrow. But, will he do it deep in Cardinals territory, where he is needed most? I don’t know if I would give hime the ball on our 7. We shall see.

Defense

The defense looked great last week with 4 sacks. Let’s see that trend continue. Our secondary has question marks. D R C got burned several times last week and then ends the game with an interception. I guess if you have to get burned its good to rebound with interceptions, but where is our shut down corner.

I will be at the game, CHEERING my team! I look forward to a Victory! Go Cardinals, go Big Red!

just my opinion…Jeff Cameron
