Events to Visit in MMR!  First week of Sept 2014!

Here are some of the events taking place this week.  Be sure to enjoy them, some of the are entertaining to attend with family:

Venue: Scottsdale Public Library

Play Scrabble – Every Friday in September between 12pm to 5pm enjoy a game of Scrabble in Scottsdale Public Library.

First Fridays – Join other teens the first Friday of every month to showcase your talent, artwork or poetry.  Performers and audience members welcome.  3PM-4:30PM

Venue: Westworld

Arizona Pony of the Americas Club – September 6, Gentle and child-size, these intelligent horses are trained in pleasure, trail riding, driving, jumping, and dressage.  8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Free of Cost Event!

Fridays Fitness Hike- McDowell –  -Trailhead Staging Area  Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. The length of the hikes varies each week. Come prepared to hike 5-miles or more. This week’s hike will begin at the Trailhead Staging Area. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. Hike led by Kevin B.  Time: 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM    Duration: 2-3 hours

Venue: Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts

Brazilian Day Arizona – Brazilian Day Arizona welcomes everyone, young and old, from all walks of life, to join together and celebrate culture, love, freedom and Independence Day the Brazilian way!  September 6.

Be sure to visit the events and enjoy them.  Remember some of them are highly encourage to take your family and kids with you.  Be sure the checkout each week for the events taking place for that week in the McDowell Mountain Ranch area.
