Bank of America and Chase to hold distressed mortgage events in Phoenix – Here is your chance to meet face to face with the bank

Here is your chance to meet face to face with the bank! If you still think you have a chance to get some type of Loan Modification, go see representatives from Bank of America or Chase Bank. You can meet face to face and ask them what your chances are of landing a Loan Modification. From what I have seem they are willing to do a loan modification, but usually only for borrowers that can afford the payments. I don’t want to say, “they don’t need a loan modification,” because they do. However, in most cases the folks getting an approved loan modification are the ones that can make the payments. They aren’t in as much trouble as so many others. I see way too many people waiting for a loan mod all the way up until it is too late to do a Short Sale and they get Foreclosed on.

So, go…Here is your chance!

BofA, Chase to hold distressed mortgage events in Phoenix

Phoenix Business Journal – by Mike Sunnucks  Date: Tuesday, February 1, 2011, 1:41pm MST
JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America are holding events to help distressed homeowners in Phoenix, an area that continues to be plagued with underwater mortgages and home foreclosures.

BofA will have mortgage counselors at the Phoenix Convention Center, and Chase Bank will offer help at the Wyndham Phoenix hotel. Both are in downtown Phoenix. Both banks’ events will run from Thursday, Feb. 3, through Monday, Feb. 7.

Past events held by the mortgage lenders have drawn large crowds.

Chase hopes to have borrowers be able to talk to bankers within 15 minutes of their arrival. The bank will also have staff on hand to discuss short sales.

BofA and other big mortgage lenders have faced plenty of criticism for their slow movement when it comes to modifying distressed mortgages in hard-hit markets such as Phoenix.
