Trail Mail Blast Annual Meeting Information

It’s time to begin the annual election process for the open seats on the Association’s Board of Directors.

There are 9 volunteer members of your association board and each of the nine directors is elected for a 3 year term. These terms are staggered so that 3 seats are open for re-election each year during the month of February.

The 2014 annual meeting and election will be held on February 11th. If you are interested in volunteering for a position on the board, you can contact Michael Woolington General Manager at 480-473-0877 or by e-mail at mwool-ington@aamaz.com for further information and an application to have your name included on the election ballot.

Election and Annual Meeting Dates:                                                                                                                              

• December 9, 2013- Applications due from candidates for Board of Directors
• January 28, 2014- Board of Director’s Meeting/Meet the Candidates.
• February 10, 2014- Mail in ballots must be received not later than this date
• February 11, 2014- Annual Meeting/Election

Lost, Missing, & Found Fliers

It happens to the best of us in the worst of times, we forget our bag at the community center pool, misplace our mailbox keys and for some, our dearest pets get out on the loose and we can’t find them.

Many residents don’t know that McDowell Mountain Ranch offers assistance for lost and found objects/pets. Instead of hanging unattractive fliers all over the Community, Debbie at the Community Center is able to send out an email blast to all residents signed up with the message you want communicated.

We also have a lost and Found page that you can pose a message to on the MMR Web site www.mmrca.net. Hanging fliers throughout the Community is a viola-tion of the McDowell Mountain Ranch governing documents and our staff will request that the signs be removed immediately. • Craft Day

This event will kick off this coming November 14, 2013 (Thursday) starting at 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM. The venue will at McDowell Center. For more details, please contact Debbie at (480) 585- 7600 or email her at dboyle@aamaz.com  to R.S.V.P.

• FREE Kick Boxing/ Self Defense/ Fitness Classes

“Discover the Champion Within” and learn the basic and advance self defense techniques for FREE. The classes are available every Wednesday and Friday starting on November 13, 2013 from 9:00 am to 10:00. For more information, call Diane at (480) 822-8383.

• Open Studio Art Show & Sale

Watch local Arizona artists as they work on their masterpiece and get original art and prints directly from them at a very affordable price. This event will happen this November 16, 2013 (Saturday) starting 9:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. Don’t miss this event as your way of supporting our local artists.
