Kitchen Nightmares Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale
Have you heard about this fiasco that has happened and is trending all over Facebook, YELP, and other blogs?
First off, if you haven’t watched this episode of Kitchen Nightmares Season 6 Episode 16 Part 1 and 2, then click the video below to witness the disturbing and obscene behavior that everyone is talking about.
Amy’s Baking Company is a French-Italian bistro “specializing in house made desserts, artisan gourmet pizzas, farm fresh organic salads, house made artesian pastas, fine wines and custom martinis.”
It also seems apparent that bistro owners, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, specialize in some horrid behavior toward staff and patrons, such as:
- not giving service staff tips they earned
- turnover of over 100 employees in the last year or so
- swearing and physically threatening a diner who complained about the hour long wait for his pizza
- yelling, swearing, and 86 ing customers out of the restaurant if they don’t like the food
- retaliating at customers who send food back
- threatening to hurt anyone who returns Amy’s cake
UPDATE 5/15: Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television. The diners will be able to decide who is correct: Gordon Ramsay, famous celebrity chef of Kitchen Nightmares, or the restaurant owners, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo. This event is SOLD OUT
What do you think will happen at this event…will Amy and Samy crack or will they hide their true colors?

Gordon Ramsay attempted to help them, but gave up on them and walked off before renovations could begin. This is the first time Ramsay quit in the 82 episode history of Kitchen Nightmares. They “are incapable of listening” said Ramsay.
And, according to the producers, they have never seen anything like this.
Their YELP rating is now at 2.5 stars. Click HERE to see some of the horrendous reviews.
And it is only getting worse, there are out of control Facebook messages, blogs, etc. flooding the Internet. Do you think the owners can salvage their business or do you think the locals can bring it down?
Jeff Cameron, Realtor of The Cameron Team and former restaurant owner of Gallery Grill, says “The customer is always right! If something is done incorrectly and the customer is being sincere, then you take care of them. You never treat the customer like the way they did. No exceptions! You don’t speak smack with them. If you can’t make them happy, then treat them pleasantly and let them be on their way.”
