Discovery Canyon consists of 8 model homes located in the community of McDowell Mountain Ranch in north Scottsdale. Discovery Canyon was developed by Woodside Homes and they began building in 1998.

Discovery Canyon has eight different floor plan variations consisting of 6 single level homes ranging from 1,093 to 1,835 square feet and 2 multi level homes ranging from 2,255 to 2,378 square feet.
