A little about Talking Stick Resort and our Experience!
About Talking Stick:
Talking Stick Resort and Casino is a lavish, AAA-reviewed Four-Diamond resort in Scottsdale. Standing 15 stories tall, the massive resort spreads out over 240,000 square feet, occupying nearly 56 acres. To get an idea of its massive scale – the property includes nearly 500 guest rooms, 21 meeting rooms, 6 entertainment lounges and 5 restaurants. It also contains a massive 25,000 square feet Grand Ballroom, a 13,000 square foot spa, a 650-seat showroom and two pools.
Commuting to Talking Stick from McDowell Mountain Ranch is simple: a quick 12-15 minute drive on the 101 to the E Indian Bend Road Exit.
Our Experience:The Staind Concert – At Talking Stick, they completely renovated their pool area in April of this year in order to host poolside concerts! We went to the Staind (a hugely-popular alternative/hard metal rock band) concert on June 8th.

Jeff and I then went to the Blue Coyote Restaurant and had some sushi. A little background: Blue Coyote is Tripadvisor’s 4-star American and Sushi Restaurant at Talking Stick. Here’s a sushi menu if you are interested (the food is very affordable and delicious)
Jeff went to the huge, Vegas-style casino and did some gambling.
Jeff and Lisa then went to the spa, a huge 13,000(!) square foot open-air space, where Lisa had the Body Polish special and Jeff had the message spa special. We got an incredible deal and paid just $89 (normal price is about $139). Please note: you must provide an ID to show that you are local and be eligible for deals!
More to come, please stay tuned!
