The AZ Cardinals Select "HEAD HUNTER" Deone Buccanon with their First Round NFL Draft Pick

The secondary for the Arizona Cardinals got much tougher last night adding Deone Buccanon a former Washington State Cougar. Everything I am reading about this kid is that he will lay the wood! He is a hitter. I read his name is pronounced Day-Own. Is that like he’s The One? Hopefully he is THE ONE that helps create the No Fly Zone in our secondary.

Time will tell, but I am hearing this guy was a steal here. Being a Washington State Cougar, was he over looked by much of the rest of the NFL? I don’t know how much of that is true.

Buccanon started with the Cougars for 4 years. According to SB Nation, he was a major reason for their 6 wins and first Bowl appearance in 10 years. Buccanon had 15 interceptions with the Cougars. He is a huge hitter and gets flagged a lot.

I was talking with my friend, Michelle Wauro, who has a son on the Cougars, and she was raving about what a great kid Deone Buccanon.

Steve Kiem has stated Buccanon was their choice all along. They had planned to trade down and get him all along. Kiem went on to say “I don’t want to mention him in the same breath as Adrian Wilson, but there are some physical similarities and the same type of mentality that we were looking for,” Keim said.

“[Bucannon] is a headhunter and he’s extremely physical.”

I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS KID HIT. Now let’s go kick some ass tonight with our 2nd round pick and 2 3rd round picks! Go Red Birds.
