Sunrise Point consists of 174 homes located in the community of McDowell Mountain Ranch in north Scottsdale. Sunrise Point was developed by Engle homes and they began building in 1987.

Sunrise Point has two distinct communities namely The Villas with floor plan ranging from 1,430 to 1,886 square feet;, and The Estates with floor plan ranging from 1,792 to 2,704 square feet. Floor plans featured are from 2 to 3 bedrooms. Two car garages are a standard feature on these models.

The different floor plans models of Sunrise Point for The Villas are Saguaro, Mesquite, Palo Verde, and Acacia. The models for The Estates are Estrella, Sierra, Camelback, and Papago. You can click on each name to get a pdf of each floor plan and more information.

Sunrise Point is located in the McDowell Mountain Ranch Community. This is a unique community in MMR because there are no boundary walls or view fences separating the individual homes. It is a quiet desert oasis bounded by the Cimarron Hills to the west  and mountain preserve to the east. To the north there is Cimarron Ridge and the beautiful community of Sonoran Estates to the south.

The Community Center has amenities including a heated pool and spa, community recreational center, BBQ stations, exercise room, and an open space covered with ramadas.
