Portillo’s Hot Dogs is one of the largest privately-owned restaurant groups in the Midwest. It is one of the most popular chains in Chicago known for its burgers, hot dogs, and beer. Portillo’s already won lots of awards that the company retired from competition for 5 years to give others a chance. Dick Portillo started the business in 1963. His dedication to serving “the best food” and “the best service” available will definitely make this place worth visiting for. The food here is really awesome and tastes just like the original Portillo’s in Chicago. Taste the “real deal” with Portillo’s all-beef franks on a poppy-seed bun piled with chopped onions, peppers, tomatoes, relish, pickles, and mustard. Don’t dare to miss the Portillo’s most famous and most loved recipe which is the Italian beef sandwich dressed with delicious gravy, then baked on French bread. They have all sorts of ways to order it: Dry, Wet, or Combo which includes an Italian Sausage wedged into the roll with the beef, with peppers, and more.
