Co-Owner of Amy’s Baking Company Facing Deportation
Kitchen Nightmare Drama Continues in Scottsdale
Ever since its first appearance on a reality television show “Kitchen Nightmares” , Amy’s Baking Company is now facing deportation.
Amy’s Baking Company is a Scottsdale- based restaurant, is now on a great controversy after pushing and yelling on their customers which was caught on TV and aired on the season finale episode of Kitchen Nightmare last May 10.
After airing the episode, thousands of concerned people took to different social media sites like Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, etc., to voice- out their reactions towards the behavior of the owners. After that episode as well, Amy’s Baking Company was closed.
If you were not able to watch the controversial Kitchen Nightmare episode, then click the video link here and see for yourself how disgusting is the owner’s behavior that everyone keeps talking about.
Salomon Bouzaglo and his wife, Amy are the owner of Amy’s Baking Company. The restaurant features both French and Italian cuisine and also specializes in homemade artesian pasta, homemade dessert, farm fresh salads, artisan pizza, custom martinis and other fine wines.
But what makes this bistro, the most talked- about restaurant are the horrible behaviors of the restaurant owners towards their staff and even to their customers. Behaviors like physically threatening and swearing on their diner who is complaining for a very long wait for his order; threatening that Sammy will hurt anyone who will return Any’s cake; getting service tips which is supposedly for the staff; firing a waitress on the spot; throwing a customer out of the restaurant if they will complain about the taste of the food; and a lot more. These obscene behavior draws the attention of so many people especially those who seen the “Kitchen Nightmares” episode.
According to a diner who get to see the whole thing, the pushing and throwing of customer out of the restaurant is “more intense than even what they showed on TV.” The diner, Matthew Pinnick together with his three other friend made a reservation to the restaurant the night before they knew that show host Gordon Ramsay will be coming to town to do the finale episode.
After seeing that “pushing and yelling of customer” thing, Pinnick taught that, that certain episode wouldn’t be aired o TV, but he was wrong. Viewers of the culinary reality show was able to see the scandalous behavior of the restaurant’s owner who are very known in town for lashing out on their diners.
Show host Gordon Ramsay tried to help them but failed and just gave up even before the start of the renovations. They “are incapable of listening”- says Gordon.
After all the controversies, the couple Samy and Amy of Amy’s Baking Company decided to have a Grand Re-opening following their sudden closure at the wake of Kitchen Nightmare’s episode. The portion of their proceeds will go to a charity organization that brings awareness to cyber-bullying. The event was already SOLD OUT.
A news release statement from Samy Bouzaglo: “We are very upset by what has taken place, apologize about the acrimony that has ensued but now must fight back to save our business. … We ask the public to keep an open mind as we begin to tell our side of the story,”
Customers will now get to decide who is right, is it Gordon Ramsay, the show host, or the owners Samy and Amy Bouzaglo?
